Most Read Reviews of 2025 So Far at Doctors of Running
By DOR Editorial Team

Today we're taking a quick look at the reviews that YOU have been tuning in for most at Doctors of Running. It's always interesting to see both the shoes that always stand out year to year among runners and the new favorites that sneak into the scene and make a big splash.

ASICS Kayano 32
Review

The Kayano series has always been a popular model, and the 32 is no exception. Since their refresh with the 30 in particular, making the stability model more versatile for a wider audience, the Kayano's popularity has soared. This edition features some small, yet big changes for the series with a 8mm drop and some ride updates that make it one of the best editions yet.

HOKA Clifton 10
Review

Clifton's continue to be highly popular for their reliability. If you want a max cushion, decently affordable, durable trainer that can be used for both runs and daily use, the Clifton is a constant favorite. Usually decently stable to boot, there's a lot of reasons why fans keep coming back. This edition does shake up the usual 5mm drop, however, moving it up to 8mm. It'll be interesting to see long term if that turns out to be a positive change among Clifton loyalists.

Mizuno Neo Zen
Review

The big surprise on this list, the Neo Zen is Mizuno's newest performance trainer and a new favorite for the team as well. The TPU midsole is responsive and highly versatile. This is a contender for us as best of 2025 for sure, and readers seem to be agreeing as they check it out. The $150 price point is also incredibly good for the package.

New Balance Fresh Foam X 880 v15
Review

Do you see the theme in this list? Trainers are king, and the 880 has been one of the easiest go-tos in the market for a long time thanks to the balance of fit and a platform that is very easy to get along with. This edition takes the stack height a touch higher than normal, but still provides something that is easy for new runners to pick up and get out the door with.

New Balance FuelCell Rebel v5
Review

The Rebel since day one has been an absolute powerhouse in the performance training spot, which is why there's no surprise to seeing it on this list. The Rebel v5 contains some of the biggest changes though which may be a positive or negative depending on the person.

Honorable Mentions

ASICS Metaspeed Edge Tokyo | Review

Faster and lighter than ever before, the Edge Tokyo has definitely been one of the top super shoes of the year.

Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 | Review

Similar to the Rebel, the Speeds have always been a favorite and one that Saucony fans look forward to.

Nike Vomero 18 | Review
The 17 provided one of our absolute favorite training rides when it released, so 18 had a lot to deliver on. The past edition's popularity makes it no surprise this has been one folks have tuned in for.

Salomon Aero Glide 3 |
Review

The other sleeper hit of 2025, the Aero Glide 3 ticks off a TON of boxes from great cushioning to a balanced, smooth ride on a stable platform.
