Skechers GOrun 7+ vs 7 Comparison Review

The Skechers GOrun series is Skechers original lightweight running shoe. It is incredible to have watched the evolution of this shoe over the last +8 years. With the switch from version 7 to 7+ comes primarily an upper update. However, the rides of the two shoes have changed in a positive way. Despite similar specs, the 7+ and 7 are very different and are worth comparing.

Adidas Adizero Adios 5 Review

The Adidas Adizero Adios series has been one of the most consistent marathon racing shoes.  Little has changed over the last 5 years since the introduction of the Adidas Adizero Adios Boost with the exception of upper and mild outsole changes.  The Adidas Adizero Adios 5 is the first to showcase complete upper and sole redesigns, with a new open mesh upper, a combination Lightstrike and Boost midsole and FINALLY a return of the extended torsion system.

Skechers GOrun Speed Elite Hyper Multiple Tester Review

After years of rumors and sneak peaks, the Skechers GOrun Speed Elite HYPER is finally available to the public. This shoe has a special place in my heart as I used a version of it during my first (surprise) marathon at LA 2019 and during the 2019 CIM race without any issues (despite being under prepared for both!). A full length HYPER BURST midsole combined with an awesome visible carbon infused forefoot winglet plate and a super comfortable and minimal upper. Of the carbon fiber shoes out there, the Speed Elite HYPER is on the faster end of the spectrum.  With enough aggressiveness for 5k racing but plenty of stability and cushioning for longer races, the Skechers GOrun Speed Elite HYPER is a unique shoe.
